Pump Station 90

The project consisted of a pump building with a wet well, a generator building and a below grade emergency storage tank.  The pump building is a 2-room masonry building at grade with a hip roof with tile over a 26' deep cast-in-place reinforced concrete pump room / wet well. Approximate dimensions of the building are 28'x46'x18' high.  The generator building is a 3-room masonry building with a hip roof with tile.  Approximate dimensions are 24'x40'x14' high.  The emergency storage tank is a below grade cast-in-place reinforced concrete structure.  Approximate dimensions are 60'x60'x20' deep.

We provided both structural engineering and architectural design services.  This involved preparing the structural calculations for the pump station, holding tank and mechanical equipment bracing and anchorage.  We also prepared the structural drawings and specifications and provided to the client an estimate of the probable construction cost.
