LVVWTThe project included: design of circular and rectangular tanks, including digester facilities with two circular tanks 30' high and 67' in diameter, eight secondary clarifiers of an octagonal “honeycomb” design with basins 15' deep and over 200' in diameter.  Rectangular tanks were designed for the aeration basin, chlorine contact basins and the contact clarifiers and filter basins.  Other concrete structures included nitrification and influent pumping stations designed for dynamic torque and fluid loadings.  Buildings were of reinforced masonry and steel design.  Miscellaneous structures included retaining structures, pump housings and diversionary structures.

R2H was responsible for the full structural and architectural design including preliminary layout and design, material selections, color selections, foundation and superstructure design, coordination with mechanical, plumbing and electrical. Full structural and architectural drawings, preparations of specifications, cost estimates and construction administration services.
