East Grove Reservoir

The project consisted of the design water booster pump station and reservoir.  Pump station consisted of a two room masonry building at grade with wood gable roof housing motor control center, general and horizontal split case pumps.  Monorail hoist provided to facilitate pump removal. Reservoir consisted of 1.28 million gallon welded steel tank founded on a concrete ring wall and oil sand cushion bed.

The sewage pump station has a precast wet well with cast-in-place concrete top and bottom slab.  There are site retaining walls with an integrated 3 sided MCC enclosure with a shed type roof.  Also included is a screen wall, electrical equipment room, area slab, equipment pads, jib crane footing and other related structures.

R₂H’s scope of services included structural engineering design, preparation of the structural calculations and plans and specifications.  R₂H also provided the construction administration services on all three aspects of this project.
