Sunset Road over I-15

The Sunset Road project calls for the extension of the 5 lane Sunset Road over I-15 in Las Vegas, NV. The project will require the access of right-of-way for the about ½ mile prior to the structure crossing. At the west side of I-15, the road will be raised and merge over a block away from the existing termination of Sunset Road.

As the prime consultant, we will be responsible for the planning, layout and development, including; feasibility study, preliminary design, modifications and PS&E for the entire project.  We will coordinate all sub-consultants and meet regularly with the client to discuss progress, and upcoming submittals. 

Our responsibilities during the design phase will include traffic, roadway, hydraulics and structural design, geotechnical studies, survey and coordination with the railroad for necessary clearances and right-of-way. Construction phase services include assistance in the bidding and award of the project, pre-construction meeting, scheduling, review of testing and RFI’s, and site observation.  We will be acing as the owners representative on the project.
