El Centro, CA

In support of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection mission, a design/build contract was issued to expand the El Centro operations by designing and building additional office/hangar space.  R₂H provided civil and structural engineering, and performed Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA).  This ESA included a site reconnaissance, interviews with people knowledgeable about the use and conditions of the subject property, assimilation of property records, reviews of environmental databases for information regarding chemical or hazardous waste releases on the subject property or surrounding area, and preparation of a report detailing the ESA.  In addition to the Phase I ESA, R2H will support the project with a Phase II ESA (Sampling) once additional land is leased.
