Laughlin Reginonal Heritage Greenway Trail

R2H provided structural engineering services for the Laughlin Regional Heritage Greenway Trail.  This includes structural calculations and drawings, written specifications and structural engineering support during the bid period.  The structures involved are as follows:

  • A pedestrian bridge over Nevada SR 163, including Plaza towers and abutments at each end of the bridge and associated retaining walls.
  • A box culvert type equestrian underpass crossing under SR 163 with wing-walls at each end.
  • Three retaining wall sections for walls at Trailhead One, an administration building at the Day Use area.
  • Small, medium and large entry monuments and an equestrian trailhead entry gate.
  • An equestrian trailhead entry gate.
  • A 53’ x 37’ shade structure over a prefabricated restroom building at Trailheads One & Two.
  • A 29’ x 20’ shade structure over a prefabricated restroom building at the Equestrian Trailhead.
  • A 53’ x 55’ shade structure over a prefabricated restroom building at the Day Use Area.
  • Three Host RV Shelters, one at Trailhead Two, the Equestrian Trailhead and the Day Use Area.
  • Two Picnic Pavilions, one at the Equestrian Trailhead and one at the Day Use.
  • A small picnic shelter.
  • A small shade structure.
  • A fishing node.
  • A horse corral shade structure.
  • A Trailhead sign monument and shade structure.
  • An interpretive sign foundation.
