Corona Transit Center

The Corona Transit Center is designed to included covered plazas, park and ride areas and possible retail centers. Because the facilities are close to the Metrolink Stations, they will provide added services by easing connections between buses and Metrolink trains. R2H is involved in the design of the following structures:
- A 2,000 sq. ft. single story stick framed building.
- Foundations for the 4 light poles and 3 flag poles.
- Retaining walls from 4’ to 10’ high and under 200’ in length.
- Sound wall approximately 6’ high and less than 100’ long.
- Structural slab for the bus traffic.
- Extension of the pedestrian bridge.
R2H is providing the structural designs for the primary structural systems, which includes the preparation of project calculations, drawings and specifications. Construction admin services are to include bid opening assistance, scheduling, site observation and response to RFI’s.
